I've been living in Sarajevo since 2021 - and I've been working from home for just as long. This can sometimes be quite oppressive, boring or lonely - depending on the mood of the day. For me, it's simply a must to get out of my own four walls regularly so that creativity can flow and - quite honestly - also so that I don't realise at the end of the day: Oh, I haven't spoken to anyone except the cats for the last 24 hours!<\/em><\/p>

Remote work friendly caf\u00e9s in Sarajevo<\/h2>

Kawa<\/h3>

Kawa has been my favourite remote work spot since it opened in 2021! I come here several times a month, the barista already knows my order before I make it and I have my favourite corner to sit in -\u00a0call it my Luke's Diner<\/em>!<\/p>

In the centre of the old town, with cool industrial-style furnishings and really good coffee - I'm always drawn back here to work and I'm often not the only one working remotely with my laptop\u00a0<\/p>

Coffee Station Grbavica<\/span><\/p>

A great spot if you want to get out of the city centre and see something different - and after work: pack away your laptop and take a walk along the Wilson Promenade right by the Miljacka River to detox a little.<\/p>

You're right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the city, but you can still work well at the cosy tables. Smoking is also banned on the upper floor, which is why I'm often drawn there. Or if I have enough battery power, I sit downstairs when the large glass walls are open to the street.<\/p>

It's a super relaxed place to sit in the garden and you can also do a bit of people-watching outside. Ministry of \u0106ejf is usually too far for me to walk (yes, meetings with me usually take place in and around my neighbourhood Mejta\u0161, haha). But when I'm there, I like it every time.<\/p>

Summary: Co-working spaces for remote work and digital nomads in Sarajevo<\/h2>

Personally, I think that the prices for co-working here are a bit expensive compared to other European cities - of course, many of the spaces are newly opened, modern and easily accessible by public transport. Nevertheless, for me personally, the large, shared work table in Kawa or a quick meeting in the office is often enough.\u00a0work session<\/em>\u00a0in another caf\u00e9 in the neighbourhood.<\/p>

But I still think it's good that there are now offices and open offices - after all, they make it possible to work in an office environment, you get to know new people and you don't have to worry about a Zoom call when the barista bursts in with a new order.<\/p>
